Called It Amendment to RuneDance Terms

Called It supplements: draft for review. Updated October 12, 2026. The service currently offers free access only. These pages do not certify that the service is legally approved.

How these agreements work together

This product amendment supplements the RuneDance Terms & Conditions dated 2026-06-14. You must accept both agreements to use Called It. The free-access policy forms part of this amendment. For Called It, this amendment controls any conflict with the parent terms; the parent terms otherwise continue to apply, including account responsibilities, intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, termination and dispute resolution. Mandatory statutory rights remain subject to applicable law.

The parent terms include binding arbitration, a class action waiver and a jury trial waiver in sections 14–16. Read those provisions carefully. This amendment does not add a separate dispute-resolution scheme.

Operator and age requirement

Called It is operated by RuneDance LLC, based in Sheridan, Wyoming, United States. Contact hello@runedance.net. The service is for adults aged 18 or older. You must confirm your age and accept these terms before using product features. You are responsible for accurate information.

Nature of the service

Called It helps friends create friendly challenges, record playful promises and remember shared results. Participants create topics, write free-form Play for text, share invitations and report results. The service displays these submissions and maintains challenge history and win/loss records for entertainment. It does not collect stakes, hold or transfer funds, set betting odds, award prizes, collect debts or enforce agreements. No deposit, withdrawal, escrow or payout service is offered.

We are not a party, guarantor or enforcement agent for participants’ arrangements. Accepting a challenge or confirming a result records participation in the app; it is not RuneDance’s endorsement of the content, independent verification of the outcome or validation of a contract or debt. These limits describe the service and do not grant permission to use it for prohibited activity.

No gambling or wagering

You may not place, solicit, organize or facilitate wagers involving money, cryptocurrency, goods, services or anything of monetary or material value. Paid-entry contests offering prizes of value are prohibited. Coffee, meals, gift cards and chores or services as obligations are not permitted. Play for text describes a voluntary playful promise, such as choosing a movie you already have access to; it is not a money or prize ledger. Rankings have no cash value. Called It does not enforce agreements or validate claims of debt.

These restrictions also apply when a payment, prize or obligation is arranged privately or settled elsewhere. Do not use coded language, external payment links, redeemable credits or other arrangements to evade them. Free-text input and a challenge’s acceptance do not make prohibited content permitted. The service’s rules make no exception based on a small amount, a personal friendship or the service being free.

Free access and usage limits

Called It currently offers free access without subscriptions or card collection. Group hosting requires Pro access. Participation and existing challenge completion remain free. AI usage is limited. Pro access may be granted after manual review of waiting-list requests; joining does not guarantee access or authorize a charge. We may adjust allowances with notice. Future paid services require separate explicit agreement.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for your challenge content and compliance with applicable laws and these terms. Do not create unlawful, harmful, discriminatory, harassing or privacy-invasive challenges. Share invitation links only with intended participants. Anyone receiving a group invitation link can preview its question and rules.

Rights in your content

Submit only content you have the right to use and share. You retain any rights you hold in your content and grant RuneDance a non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, format and display it as necessary to operate, secure and moderate the service, including sharing it with the audience you choose and processing it through the services described in our privacy notices. This license does not authorize selling your personal data or private challenge content. Do not submit sensitive personal information or impersonate another person.

Challenge outcomes

Outcomes depend on participant submissions and agreed rules. Called It does not independently verify real-world events or guarantee the accuracy, fairness or legality of user content or reported results. AI drafts may contain errors and are not binding determinations. Group rules lock after the first prediction. Participants may dispute published results; disputed results are unscored until the revision is confirmed by all participants.

Participant disputes

For one-on-one challenges, either participant may leave before the result is confirmed. After a custom promise is recorded, either participant may mark it completed or skip it. Skipping a promise does not change a confirmed result or win/loss history. There are no penalties, payment reminders or collection mechanisms for an uncompleted promise. In-app disagreement controls update challenge records; they are not legal arbitration, debt collection or a promise that we will adjudicate disputes between participants. Completion and skip labels are participant reports, not independent verification by RuneDance. Do not use an AI draft, leaderboard, promise label or result screen as proof of a payment obligation or entitlement to anything of value.

Enforcement and reports

Use the report action on a challenge or contact hello@runedance.net. We may remove prohibited challenges, restrict features or suspend accounts. Historical obligations from earlier versions are disabled. We use limited rule-based screening and respond to reports; we do not use AI to review every manually created challenge or promise. Neither a passed check nor a completed label is legal approval. Reports are reviewed by authorized operators; reporting does not guarantee immediate removal.

Investigation and service limits

We may investigate suspected violations, preserve relevant records, restrict sharing, remove content or suspend accounts as permitted by applicable law. Automated screening and reports do not guarantee detection of every violation. We may cooperate with lawful requests from authorities in accordance with applicable law and our privacy notices. Do not pressure or harass anyone to honor an arrangement.

The RuneDance Terms’ warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability and indemnification provisions apply to Called It to the fullest extent permitted by law, including claims arising from your content, prohibited use or violation of another person’s rights. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete records, accurate user-reported outcomes or that another participant will act as you expect. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. These provisions do not make an unlawful use lawful or bind a regulator to our characterization of the service.

For Entertainment and Social Predictions Only

Called It helps friends create challenges, record playful promises and remember participant-confirmed results. Gambling, money or cryptocurrency stakes, paid entry and rewards of monetary or material value are prohibited, even when arranged outside the app. Called It does not collect stakes, hold or transfer funds, set odds, award prizes or enforce agreements. Accepting a challenge or confirming a result is not our endorsement, independent verification or validation of a legal obligation.

Questions and legal review

Contact hello@runedance.net. The final governing-law, dispute-resolution, liability, consumer-rights and enforceability provisions in both agreements require review by US counsel for public launch, including free access. No additional arbitration provision is established by this amendment. The parent terms’ dispute provisions remain subject to applicable law and legal review.
